SkyMed International Transports Member with Pneumonia to Local Hospital
“Every year now since our SkyMed experience,” says Laurie Conrad, “Walter and I, as the Wagon Masters of the weeklong KZ/Venture International Rally in Shipshewana, Indiana, make sure a presentation time is offered to SkyMed International. Why? SkyMed helped us so much in our time of need, we love these people! We ended up using one of their services almost immediately. As we didn’t expect this, but just three weeks from becoming Members, I came down with a bout of pneumonia. It was SkyMed Member Services that we called, and they arranged immediately for a ground ambulance to transport me to the local hospital. SkyMed delivered as they said they would, and I know, as a SkyMed Member, I will get to wherever I need to be to get the best care I need.”
How did you find out about SkyMed and why did you choose SkyMed? “Our first introduction to SkyMed was at a RV resort in Arcadia, FL. We thought that we were “too young” for what SkyMed was offering. However, the program stuck in our minds as both of us knew if Walter was unable to drive our RV, I was not going to drive it. We decided to invite SkyMed to the KZ/Venture Rally in Shipshewana, IN. We learned more about SkyMed’s services and immediately became members. A decision we never regretted and continue to invite SkyMed to all our Rallies for our attendee’s benefit.”
What would you tell your friends about your experience with SkyMed? “We tell our friends our SkyMed service was outstanding because everything went exactly as SkyMed said it would. All my questions were answered in my time of need. Being SkyMed Members has been very beneficial to us and we always suggest to our friends and Rally attendees that becoming SkyMed Members is one of the best things you can do for ‘peace of mind’ when traveling.”
