SkyMed Member Receives Reimbursement for Canadian Ambulance Transport
Longtime SkyMed Members, Canadians Dave and Pat Miller, enjoy spending their winters near Yuma, Arizona. They first became SkyMed Members after attending a SkyMed presentation in Wellton, AZ in the Arrowhead RV Park. This particular year, the winter flew by quickly and soon they were back in Canada for the summer. Unfortunately, after arriving back, Dave had a health emergency. Pat called a local ambulance which transported Dave from Harris, Saskatchewan to Saskatoon Hospital. It wasn’t long and the ambulance bill arrived from Saskatchewan Blue Cross. Knowing they had SkyMed, Pat called and was told, “Yes, the portion of the ambulance invoice, not covered by Saskatchewan Blue Cross, would be covered.” To which Pat responded, “SkyMed paying that portion of the invoice for us was beyond my wildest expectations!”
How did you find out about SkyMed and why did you choose SkyMed? “We do enjoy a free lunch from time to time,” laughs Pat, “and SkyMed was offering one, so we attended their presentation in Wellton, AZ where we learned what SkyMed offers to their members. Learning about SkyMed made us realize that this was a membership we would be wise to invest in as it filled a gap of protection that we felt we were lacking. We liked the ‘peace of mind’ if we were to experience any life challenges during our travels, SkyMed would step in and see that we had the help we needed.”
What would you tell your friends about your experience with SkyMed? “We have told so many people about SkyMed and many, in turn, have become Members. Any experience we have ever had with SkyMed personnel has been very positive, either at a time of need on the phone or at a Member Appreciation Event. The employees are very knowledgeable and professional in everything they do. SkyMed has an amazing product that we recommend for anyone.”
