Robert and Patricia Young had just arrived for their vacation at Simpson Bay Resort in St. Maarten. They were looking forward to a great time as all their children and grandchildren were with them. On the first night after arriving, Patricia walked into the bathroom and slipped on a rug on a marble floor. She fell and it was obvious that she had broken something. Robert called 911. Patricia was taken to the St. Maarten Medical Center where it was determined she had a broken hip and fractured elbow. Robert called SkyMed. SkyMed arranged for an air flight home to the States with two escort nurses; and covered expenses to fly them from St. Maarten to Phoenix, Arizona. SkyMed also arranged an ambulance to transport Patricia to Honor Health in Deer Valley, AZ when they arrived in Phoenix.
