SkyMed Transports Member’s Motorhome Back to Texas
Annette and Carlos Espinoza were attending the FMCA Rally in Perry, Georgia when they encountered a speed bump, literally! Carlos was riding his electric bicycle in the park when he hit a speed bump resulting in a crash and an injury. Carlos, aware that he had tweaked his knee, hobbled himself and his bike home. The next morning Carlos was unable to put any weight on his injured leg. Annette, who is wheelchair-bound, knew that this crisis was beyond her help. She called SkyMed. SkyMed arranged to have their son fly from Austin, TX to Perry, GA, and to assist with getting their motorhome back to Texas.
How did you find out about SkyMed and why did you choose SkyMed? “SkyMed is often a sponsor, and gives presentations, at the rallies that we attend. We chose to become SkyMed Members because of the assurance of protection offered. If something were to happen to Carlos, I knew we were going to need some help. We hoped to never need to use it, but it’s nice to know it’s there, just in case.”
What would you tell your friends about your experience with SkyMed? “We tell our friends that our SkyMed experience was great! Everything about our first call to SkyMed was perfect. They had everything arranged very quickly and efficiently, and our son arrived that same day. Even though I feel our situation was minor,” says Annette, “It was good to have SkyMed.”
