I was in Switzerland visiting the Christmas markets over the holidays and on the next to the last day of my trip I slipped and fell on the ice. I broke my leg above the ankle and needed surgery. I was taken to Interlaken Hospital and called my daughter from the emergency room. When I told her what was happening she immediately called GLOBAL ETS for me.
During my four-day hospital stay, I received three calls from Global ETS to check on my condition and to determine the discharge date. They also sent over a medical escort who met with the doctor to determine my needs before accompanying me. We had to travel from Interlaken to Zurich, through three airports in a wheelchair and onto each plane in first class, and then on to my daughter’s car at the airport. If it hadn’t been for Global ETS, I would have had to fly my daughter over to escort me home and I’m sure I would not have been comfortably seated in first class.
I’m a full-time RVer and have known about SkyMed’s services for the last 13 years but never felt it was urgent to sign up. Then last winter a friend had to use their services and said how great it was. I was about to take my 17 year-old grandson with me on a trip to Europe when I heard about SkyMed’s five-year Ultimate plan. When I found out it included their GLOBAL ETS services I thought this is the time to buy it because if something happens to me, it will bring us both home. What I didn’t realize at the time I bought it was that if something had happened to my grandson while traveling with me, he would have been taken care of as if he were a member too!
What would you tell your friends about your experience with GLOBAL ETS? It was a completely positive experience and I have told all my friends about it. Fortunately for me I bought the five-year SkyMed Ultimate membership which includes the GLOBAL services. They just brought me home and I’m still excited about it because my membership is active for four more years.
