Sy Zachar and Bill Gerich, together, have experienced three SkyMed services in the last two years. Both Sy and Bill have been SkyMed members in need of a SkyMed emergency flight from San Miguel, Mexico, to their destination of choice in West Palm Beach, FL, for immediate treatment of serious medical conditions.
Sy, needing treatment of a severe kidney stone condition, called SkyMed. Sy said, “SkyMed responded immediately, arranged and paid for, last-minute commercial flights for both of us to get back to West Palm Beach as soon as possible.”
Bill needed a SkyMed flight from Mexico to receive spinal surgery in the West Plan Beach area. He is very grateful to SkyMed because by using his choice of destination in the USA, he received a less aggressive invasive surgery on his spine than had been proposed by the surgical approach in San Miguel. Recently, Sy had another SkyMed flight for a serious hernia condition that required immediate surgery. Again, the surgical method used in Sy’s operation in the USA was less aggressive than the surgery proposed in San Miguel. With three SkyMed services under their belts, Bill commented, “We feel very fortunate we have SkyMed.” Sy joined in by stating, “Boy, I am so glad we set up our SkyMed plan!”
