I got sick on or about January 4, 2019. The doctors in Pharr, Texas did not want me to either drive or fly home. It was believed that I had had a mini-stroke.
Finally, on February 20, 2019, the doctors signed off and advised me to go home as I felt well enough to do so. My wife and I had been in contact with our SkyMed Representative Stan & Mary Schwenke and they were waiting for the signoff before making arrangements for me and my wife to fly home on a commercial flight. Arrangements were also made for a friend of ours to drive our car home to Canada and then return to Pharr, Texas afterward.
We advised SkyMed on February 20 and on February 22 that I was safe and sound at home. We live in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada which is approximately 1,800 miles from Pharr, Texas.
We were very impressed with the services we got from SkyMed and how competent they were to get us home. We want to thank Stan and Mary for all the help they gave us.
