Judy Sampson shares their SkyMed story – “Loren, my husband, and I were spending winter in Weslaco, TX when Loren became very ill with RSV and pneumonia. He was admitted to a local hospital and treated for three weeks. Per our request, his doctors confirmed he was fit to fly home for further treatment.
We contacted SkyMed and soon a flight home to our local hospital was arranged. The first contact we made with SkyMed was very accommodating and all our questions were answered. We were assured that we would be going home.
Our flight from McCallen, TX to Toledo, OH included two pilots, two medics and the two of us. It was a smooth and uneventful three-hour flight in a leer jet. Transport arranged by SkyMed took us from the hospital to the airport, and from the Toledo airport to our local hospital. Our car that had been left behind in Texas was picked up five days later and driven to our home by a bonded driver- all arranged by SkyMed. When you think of how much this all costs and all the work to arrange it, it is unbelievable how easily SkyMed did it. Our worries were minimal. SkyMed- What a great service!”
